BFF brings workplace training, independent living skills, community-based learning, and personal development into a supportive real-world environment. Participants build experience through meaningful responsibilities, consistent routines, and the day-to-day work of a professional print shop.

Print Shop

BFF operates a working print shop serving businesses, schools, nonprofits, events, organizations, and community partners. Participants contribute to real projects across production, design preparation, fulfillment, inventory, packaging, customer service, and marketing with support matched to their goals and readiness.

A structured day with room to build.

Each program day balances productive work, practical instruction, social connection, movement, and reflection. The routine helps participants understand expectations, practice consistency, complete assigned responsibilities, and recognize progress over time.

  1. Morning meeting

    Check in, review the previous day, preview the schedule, and assign responsibilities.

  2. Print-shop work

    Practice production, fulfillment, design, customer service, or other rotating work tasks.

  3. Lunch and social skills

    Share a meal, practice communication, and explore healthy eating and meal preparation when scheduled.

  4. Movement and wellness

    Participate in walking, fitness, swimming, or another appropriate physical activity.

  5. Vocational and life skills

    Build practical skills through lessons, guest speakers, community practice, and hands-on activities.

  6. Closing meeting

    Review accomplishments, discuss challenges, and prepare for the next program day.
